Crown Heights Brooklyn born artist Mike2twenty began his Hip-Hop career on a dare and dared to be himself in the process. Meeting Producer “Strength of” Will “KGB” Taubin at a party the paring proved to be a pivotal point in creating his introspective demo album titled “Self Portrait”. With tracks such as The Written, Crazy Mandingo, The Princess, Beautiful Minds and of course the Title track Self Portrait the duo Maintain the idea of Hip-Hop Music isn’t lost.
The two collaborated on a full album together and created a gritty, soulful, kick ass album titled Planet Without A Son soon to be released and look to shine more light on the dim state of what is considered Hip-Hop today.
